A foster based, licensed rescue helping animals in need by vetting them, loving them, and finding them the best home.
Friends of Stanly County Animals was founded in July, 2012. We are a licensed 501c3 non profit, foster based rescue run SOLELY by volunteers.
We save animals from our local high kill heart stick shelter as well as other shelters. Our intakes also includes those who have
been abandoned, neglected, or owner surrendered. They are spay/neutered and placed into foster homes with families who give them the
love, support, and socialization skills to help get them ready for their "best life" in the home of their "forever family".
Fosters are our "lifeline". We simply can not save lives without them. As an approved foster, your sole responsibility is taking care of the animal. That includes unconditional love, companionship, and training. Your commitment means we take on the financial responsibility including food, crate, vetting, etc. The "hands on" commitment gives each rescue animal just what it needs to become ready for the "forever" family they so deserve. Becoming a foster also means you will transport your foster pet to and from at least one adoption event per month. *We also have transporters willing to do this but it's your responsibility to line them up. We are a team at FSCA - which always means you are never alone.
Our team is Growing daily! We welcome you to become a part of our rescue in whatever way fits you best! We need fosters, volunteers, transporters,
donors, etc. Contact us and make a difference in the life of an animal. If you would like to foster, please click on the following link and complete the foster application.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
